According to some rumors its seems that Microsoft will be launching a Windows 7 phone during an event in NYC that is planned to take place on October 11th. After the event the actual handsets are expected to be available to the public. Other rumors have been heard that Microsoft will be holding another event the same day but in Germany. The carriers that are expected to get the Microsoft 7 phones in Europe are T-Mobile, 3, and Orange. The carriers expect to be selling the phones in Europe by the end of October. All of these rumors seem to coincide with information that was presented back in August when COO Kevin Turner from Microsoft said that the windows 7 phone would debut in Europe in October, and the US should receive it in November. (yay!) Now we're hoping that the information on the November date is solid. We're pretty sure its right this time. (Hopefully)
