Verizons Version of the Touch Pro2

Starting tommorrow you will be able to pick up Verizon's version o fthe HTC Touch Pro 2 Smartphone. Like the Touch Pro, the Touch Pro 2 will have slightly different variations for Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. The Verizon Version will be a GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and 2100 MHz UMTS world compatible handset that will support Verizon's 3G CDMA network. The Touch Pro 2 will be a slide out QWERTY handset with a resistive touchscreen measuring in at 3.6' and 800 x 480 pixel resolution.   The Touch Pro 2 will run the TouchFlo 3D IU extensions on top of Windows Mobile. Other features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocue, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Support, 1500mAh battery, expansion memory slot for up to 16 MB of additional storage and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The new HTC Touch Pro2 will go for $199.00 here in the states with 2 year contract and after a $100.00 rebate. The HTC Touch Pro2 goes on sale September 11, 2009.
