Verizon iPhone possibly on the way?
By Kim Zalewski

Qualcomm, one of the largest makers of CDMA chips is apparently looking for an 'iPhone developer guru' to get started on a secret project. What does this mean now? A press time post said '... join us and develop the most challenging product of your life!' We would easily assume this means Verizon wants to finally incorporate the iPhone to the extent line of devices, however, this could mean sprint, hhmmm... Either way, every one is hoping for the long awaited Verizon iPhone. It is understood that a CDMA iPhone would probably mean an incredible amount of cash for Qualcomm, as conpetitor Infineon has been called out to provide the chips for the new iPhone 4. An Apple product offered by Verizon is expected to sell at least a few million units dureng the weekend launch itself, more than likely. Qualcomm produces a lot more software than what we think, and taking on the iPhone market would benefit both the company and the consumers waiting for this Verizon iPhone.
