Teens seem to love the iPod Touch, especially since there is a bunch of apps that allow users to send free text messages to friends. So far the best app in my opinion for this is textPlus, and now a new version has hit the app market! The new version adds cool features like picture sharing and a stronger social network feature. But don't worry! You can still send text messages, the app is also allowing you to use the front facing camera to add a picture to the conversation. The app has assured that they are not trying to compete with Facetime in any sort of way. With the new features it seems that the app wants to have a social networking feel to it. I can already see the teens going crazy over this one, well I don't blame them, I'd be excited too. The new version of textplus should be available for the iphone, ipod touch, and the ipad.
