Samsung Captivate headed to Rogers

I thought it was safe to assume that each class of the Galaxy S, most importantly the individual names given to each handset (Vibrant, Captivate, and Epic 4G) were owned by each T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint. That however, seems to not be the case. So when we first heard that the Galaxy S variant heading to Rogers was in fact the Captivate, with no rebranding or different ID, we were shocked. Unfortunately as of right now there is no available release date or pricing information, but Rogers promises that 'more details will be available in the coming weeks,' so you will just have to hold out until then. Our best bet is an late August launch. We'll keep our ears peeled. Link.
