
The Nokia N97 Mini popped up at Nokia World in Germany today. A smaller version of teh original this Smartphone ditches the D-Pad in lew of a phone with shorter dimensions. The 3.2' packs a 640 x 360 Pixek resoloution resistive touchscreen that slides out to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. Connectivity for the N97 Mini comes in the form of quad-band GSM(850/950/1800/1900Mhz) with dual Tri-Band UMTS configurations (850/1900/2100Mhz and 900/1900/2100Mhz) and HDSPA support. If you find yourself 3G-less you have Wi-Fi connectivity where available. Other feature on the N97 mini include MP3 support, FM RDS Radio support, a 5.0 Megapixel autofocus camera with carl Zeiss optics,GPS capabilities, 8 GB of internal memory with microSD expansion slots. The new N97 mini will be out later next month with a $640.00 price tag.
