As you may have read in an earlier post here at CellPhoneTrek, two new iPhones are in the works. One of which is going to Verizon Wireless network, and the other could possibly be deemed the iPhone HD, and could be released as soon as June 22nd. Honestly to me it seems like these rumors will pan out to be untrue but you never know. In my opinion Apple likes to let the consumer drool over their newest device to hit the market, and show it off months before the release of the actual product. In this case, there has been no sight or official statement of an iPhone HD, therefore for them to debut it, and then release it to consumers in June seems to be a time table Apple is unfamiliar with. I don't in anyway assume I have all the answers, but I do take into account history, and how companies have performed in the past. With that said, this HD iPhone is rumored to be equipped with a A4 system on chip, with a 960 x 640 resolution display. Other notable features rumored to be found on this unannouced iPhone are a front facing camera, which allow the iPhone to be used in video chat, a cool sounding ability that has yet to really take hold in the States. The HD iPhone will sport the latest iPhone OS 4.0 with multi-tasking support. These are rumors, with nothing official but the guys around the work place said they will bet the house on The Wall Street Journal source, saying they are pretty on point when it comes to reporting, I would have to agree. But for now only time will tell, let us know how you feel on the subject, don't hold back any comments! [Via Engadget]
