Napster Goes Mobile
By Fred Salva

Remember Napster?  Stopped using the MP3 download software after the 'Metallica' incident.  Well the digital music pioneer is getting mobile.   Subscribers will now be able to access their account via m.napster.com from just about any Smartphone.  Napster users will now be able to browse, search and preview music from Napster's 9 million song library.  Napster customers pay 5$ a month for unlimited streaming and five mp3s.  The new mobile services will not add to the existing 5$ fee.  Best Buy is spearheading the mobile Napster movement by offering $15.00 worth of free music from the MP3 guru which, according to old math, equates to 15 songs and 3 months of unlimited pc listening, with any purchase of a mobile phone contract.  This special will last throughout the month of September.
