Motorola Q2; 2.7 million Smartphones
By Fred Salva

In the second quarter of 2009 Motorola made a $26 million dollar profit, but the results from the second quarter of 2010 have just come in saying that they've made a profit of $162 million! Statistics show that Motorola has had $5.4 billion in sales and has shipped more than 8.3 million phones. In a period of three months 30,000 smartphones have been sold 2.7 million of the 8.3 million phones sold were smartphones. Motorola is stepping it's game up even more by releasing the new Droid X, which has become very popular and has gotten many excellent reviews. The Droid X has been so popular that most of the time it will be sold out in the stores you go to. Motorola lost $287 million last year, but this year actually made $ 87 million. It looks light their on the right path now. Many rumors have been going around saying that Motorola will be coming out with better phones and maybe even 10-inch tablet that may be released in November. Motorola's customers have been pleased and satisfied with the customer service. I believe this company will be on the right path for a long time and make an excellent profit! Source:
