Yes the release of the iPad is just around the corner and it seems Apple has done everything needed to get ready for this big release. If you have already purchased apps for your iPhone, the sequence for purchasing an app for your iPad will be similar. Just because the iPad won't be in consumers hands till tomorrow, you can still rack up a huge bill buying apps all day today. If you have bought the iPad you should look through just to get an idea of the apps that are out there, because they are different from the iPhone applications. It will be interesting to see how much revenue the iPad apps will generate for Apple, and if it will surpass the iPhone revenue from apps. Being a multimedia device, and with no functions like a phone or anything like that, I feel more iPad owners even though there will be a lot less of them than iPhone owners, will purchase more apps for their iPad device. These apps are far from cheap, but at least Apple hammered out a deal with publishers to make the cost of content on iBooks is not that much. After checking out the Apps for the iPad, there are a good amount of them already, and I'm sure there will be a lot more coming. Maybe some 3D apps? [Via iTunes]
