The date given for the launch of the HTC Hero in Europe was not exactly a date, but rather a time period – July. This range is unusually broad for such a highly anticipated Android device. That leaves the Hero followers in a state of suspense, hoping day to day that their object of desire arrives at shore. Adding definiteness to the situation, Amazon UK pushed its release date back from July 15 to July 24th . Even more unfortunate is Devicewire’s statement that it will not have stock until the first week of August. Now you may spend your time more efficiently rather than on the interwebs drooling over the search of an official release date.
