The cancellation of iPhone exclusivity in Europe has not only led to an increase in iPhone sales, but also a decrease in prices, an obvious outcome when two companies have the ability to fluctuate prices for competition's sake. The latter result of exclusivity being abrogated is now beginning to take effect. The three companies battling to attract customers most efficiently are Bouygues Telecom, SFR and Orange. Orange decided to cut its iPhone 16GB iPhone 3GS to a mere €59 ($48USD), a large decrease considering its original price of €149 ($213USD), its iPhone 3G 8GB to a small €19 ($27USD), and the iPhone 3GS 32 GB to €169 ($242USD). It's not just a string-free transaction, though, as an Origami Star contract runs at €40.90 ($48USD) per month. Prices differ slightly from company to company, but informing you of one should be enough information for non-European viewers.  Read.
