Opera mini 5 beta has hit the streets into welcome arms. The popular, browser gets a make over with new features and a facelift taking years off of it's looks. Features include an enhanced user interface with touchscreen devices, thumbed browser, tabbed browsing, password manager and a search engine to locate text on the page. The basics of the browser haven't changed. The Mini 5 compresses pages 90% by rendering them on the server side before the packet is delivered to the the handset. Opera is rumored to own a quarter of the mobile internet waves.
