Today Nokia has announced that its first 8 megapixel camera is on its way to the US. The N86 and its 8MP will be making an appearance in the next few weeks. There’s more to the phone than just a camera, but it’s extremely difficult to overlook an 8 megapixel capture, a shutter speed of 1/1000 of a second, a wide-angle lens, and an f-stop range of 2.4-4.8. After getting over the camera and its abilities, you’ll discover a 2.6-ince AMOLED QVGA display, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS, 8 GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi, and a GPS with Nokia Maps 3.0 already installed. There’s more added into the equation, but we’ll let you find the little treats by yourself. The bad news is that the N86 will cost you $558, but that may be a small fee to pay depending on your penchant for photography. Say cheese!
