In cell phone news today, Garner a company well know for their smartphone market analysis has today released numbers for the Worldwide Smartphone Sales, and ranked them by Operating System. These numbers are for 2009, and show that the biggest gainers were the iPhone OS, Android, and RIM. Some operating systems weren't so lucky and actually lost sales, these were Windows Mobile and Nokia's Symbian. These numbers have no effect on the market share that Nokia controls, owning 36.4% of all the sales. It will be interesting to see if they continue their dominance in the market. [Via Garner]
