Today in cell phone news, the partnership between Gamin and Asus announced today they will be releasing a new nuvifone called the A50. This device will be a smartphone phone powered by Google's mobile operating system called Android. It will feature Garmin's voice guided turn by turn navigation. The A50 is powered by Android 1.6 with Garmin-Asus' user interface in place called Breeze. Some of the specs and features found on this new smartphone are, a 3.5 inch HVGA capactive touch screen, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and a high sensitivity GPS receiver. Other notable feature are like WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and lots more. Another cool thing is the device come with it's own car mount to allow for safe keeping inside a vehicle. This phone is going to be available first in Europe, and should be on shelves the first half of 2010.
