LG is really making some hype for themselves in cell phone news this week, and personally consumers should be excited. When LG pursues a venture they not only complete their task, its usually a home run ball hit out of the park. With the hype of them finally developing a Windows Phone Series 7 device, and with them continuing to put pressure on competitors with new devices like the Arena Max also known as the LU9400 Maxx, LG makes its presence known if everything they do. Users will receive great cell phone usage out of this device considering its 1GHz Snapdragon processor, equipped with a 3.5 inch WVGA touch screen. It really is unbelievable all the features packed into these phones now a days, and LG keeps pushing for more. Other notable features that will make the Arena Max pack a punch are the 3G user interface, 5 megapixel camera, and the option of mobile TV. CellPhoneTrek is in the process of negotiating with LG to bring you cell phone reviews on the newest products that hit the market. Over the weekend Palm made its way into the spot light with their globe wide update for Palm Pre owners besides the customers on the Verizon Network. However it didn’t take long for the telecom giant to get up to speed and offer the update to webOS 1.4 to the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus users. Verizon even though late to the party this time, delivers great and reliable service to their customers, and never leaves anyone hanging even the Palm users. The cell phone use should get a huge boost with this last update, and should deliver a new trick up every devices sleeve which is the new Flash 10. With Flash finally making its way on to mobile devices, and with Palms being one of the first to offer the software, the cell phone use should skyrocket and deliver a nice new feature for every palm user. Please tell us how this new update is treating you Pixi and Pre users out there, don’t be shy!

LG seems to be circulating some cell phone news this week with some rumors out of Engadget as an insider is reporting that the cell phone manufacture is preparing to create their first ever Windows Phone Series 7. To back up these rumors Microsoft has unveiled a pre-production phone using the new Windows Phone 7 that was debuted at the MWC earlier this year. I believe the cell phone use of this device will be outstanding as Microsoft needs to make major head wind and gain some serious market share as the mobile operating system industry becomes more competitive with the like of Android and Symbian phones. As you can see from the posted pictures there is nothing unique about the slide QWERTY keyboard and the average sized touch display. We are sure there is more to come out of this developing story and we here at CellPhoneTrek will bring it to you as it comes available. More after the jump…
