There seems to be more reason for kids to have cell phones these days than some might want. Yesterday AT&T announced that its locating FamilyMap application for the iPhone has been upgraded with a handful of new features. The most notable of the changes would be the ability to locate a family member using your mobile device, where as previously a computer was required. Other features include POIs, device labeling, map panning, and landmarks. The service itself will run you at $10 per month for a pair of lines, and a family package of up to five lines for $15 a month.
