The news was broke by a reporter at AndroidandMe, however all good things most of the time come with a catch. This catch deals with each handsets processor speed, and if they aren't fast enough they will get the firmware from the update, but they might not have use of all the features such as the Nexus One does. These features include live wallpapers, ect. Different phones will require different avenues of how they will receive the update. Some of the Android phones will require a wipe the they experience the update, others will have to do a PC install. The details are still being worked out by US carriers and Android handset manufactures, however everything should be ready in the upcoming future.
