So if you have yet to hear the news, this Saturday all T-Mobile phones are free. Don't get too excited, they aren't going to just be giving everyone a phone - you have to sign up for a two-year contract of course. The contract will have to be under a family plan - although it's not very clear as to what that means if you already have a family plan... maybe a two year extension?   Of course, you'll be charged a $35 activation fee, unless you head to Radio Shack, who will be running the same promotion, but will be waiving the $35 fee. You should expect to shell out the normal price that you would be paying for the phone at the counter, and be getting your money back via mail-in rebate, but this shouldn't be much of a problem.
