The new Motorola DROID 2 has only been on the market for about 2 weeks and has been a hit. Now the phone is finally receiving its first OS update. Although the update is minor its still going to improve some parts of the system. The minor upgrade will be sent out OTA but will not address the main problem that that DROID 2 owners have been complaining about. The popular handset has had problems staying locked to a 3G signal under circumstances. The update was sent out to improve the set up of visual voicemail, improve syncing capabilities, make sure the pictures that come up when contacts are reviewed is accurate. It will also enable users from scrolling during text and picture messaging. Although the list of updates are small for right now its something, hopefully the next update will fix the signal problems that the Motorola DROID 2 has.
