Bing Creeps on to 10% Market Share

Search engines in the last 15 years went from somewhat relevant to totally dominating the internet, and maybe soon computers themselves. This theory becomes more and more interesting as the internet progresses further with playable media and even in-browser applications. I know we’ve all heard the ads Microsoft has been pushing for their re-branded search engine labeled ‘Bing’. It seems as if all that hard work is finally starting to pay off, the search engine has crept up to 10$ of the market. The share of the company on the internet has gone up 1.4% for the year so far and 0.5% just in September alone. While the first look of numbers may be deceiving, you have to consider that Yahoo! Is down 3% on the year and Google is only up 2.4 (what else did you expect though?) Not too bad Bing, we’re pretty impressed. Read
