Apple Tells UPS to Hold iPhone 3G S Packages Until Future Date

Remember those lucky preorders who were potentially receiving their iPhone 3G S ahead of time? Well, these lucky few may not be lucky after all. A number of updated track information for shipped 3G S orders have been seen confirming that Apple has actively coordinated with its shipper to restrict package delivery until “a future delivery date” that was not specefied, but likely the 19th. Is it possible to just go to your local UPS and try to get the package in the meantime? Most package carriers mandate that one delivery be attempted before you can go in and get your package over the counter. There’s no reason to not try tomorrow if today fails. Good luck. Read.
