Apple Still Leading the U.S. Market Share

According to American firm Nielsen Media Research (NMR), Apple’s iOS operating system is still leading the spot for the most popular OS in the United States. Apple’s iOS dominates the U.S. market with 27.9% of the overall market share. RIM was trampled down by Apple last October as it was pushed further into the number two spot with 27.4%. But we think this victory by Apple could be short-lived due to another rising superstar – the Android OS. With more and more Android phones coming in, it wouldn’t take long for Google to finally grab the title from Apple. Source
