The iPhone 4 really needs no introductions. And as we are all aware, the iPhone 4 is the brand’s newest Apple hardware and probably the most successful launch yet, despite encountering problems during the marketing phase, where it has been leaked a couple of times. There had been issues also on Apple and AT&T's servers because of too many pre-orders received, problems also with the schedule of new shipments where it has to be pushed back due to high demand, and just like other iPhones – Apple fans fall in line outside of Apple stores a week before the phone is actually available. It really brought too much hype but did it live up to the intense hype? Let’s see. The Apple iPhone 4 features like a powerful A4 CPU, and comes with a new front-facing camera and rear facing five megapixel shooter. It is presented in a completely new industrial design with Retina Display.

Pros: The Apple iPhone 4 is presented in a new industrial design, 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm lengthwise, breadthwise and by thickness respectively. It weighs the same – 137g, making it still pocket-friendly. It comes with a Retina Display, and it is pretty mind-blowing! Its internal memory is 16/32 GB storage and the RAM is a larger than the old one with 512 MB RAM. It runs iOS 4 and is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor . Other features include a 1420 mAh lithium polymer and a PowerVR GPU embedded in an Apple A4 chipset.

Cons: The Apple iPhone 4’s internal memory is good but there’s no back up option, a memory card would come in handy. I guess it boils again to exclusivity or yet another marketing scheme from Apple. Perhaps they are planning on to release an exclusive memory card for the Apple iPhone 4. It’s camera is not at par with the shooters of the Galaxy S-II and other new releases with 8MP, and once again.. it’s still expensive at $650.

If you are a smart buyer, which you probably are since you are reading this review, then most likely you'll end up buying the Apple iphone 4. Why? It's an all arounder phone that looks abd performs better than its predecessors. Thanks to its new industrial design, and more powerful specifications and features. I have been using the Apple iPhone 4 since the day it has been released, and so far so good. In fact, i ended up buying a new unit, since my kid always borrows mine. Yup, it's a bit pricey, but it's all worth it. I am looking forward that this device lives up to all the hype it has brought to consumers, and not to experience dropped calls with it, which is pretty evident on the previous model, the Apple iPhone 3GS. Like its predecessor, the iPhone 4 looks neat and is pocket-friendly. But this time, it’s as if that it has been overhauled as it now comes with an industrial design. Steve Jobs said that he likes the design of the iPhone 4 as it I looks like a "beautiful, old Leica camera," and I definitely agree! Unlike the curved, and silver-bezeled look of the iPhone 3G and 3GS, Apple decided to make use of a more detailed and sophisticated casing. The Apple iPhone 4 (AT&T) is composed of three basic parts: two pieces of strengthened glass, and a band made up of stainless steel which binds the phone from the sides, top, and bottom. The end result? It is clean and simple. The brand also added little stuff: they have altered the volume buttons, the notches in the metal band was made to improve radio connections. It’s much thinner than the Apple iPhone 3GS as it now measures .37 inches compared to .48 inches. It weighs the same though at 4.8 ounces, making the Apple iPhone 4 seem tighter and denser. It really feels great holding it, and for sure you’ll ditch your 3GS as you’ll feel that the 3GS is cheap and chubby when compared to the new Apple iPhone 4. Its face is made up of a strong glass. According to Jony Ive “Apple iPhone 4 is "comparable in strength to sapphire crystal, but about 30 times harder than plastic." By the way, there’s a slit for the earpiece and its front-facing camera is located in the glass above the display, while its home button is still at its original location. On the left side of the phone, there’s the new volume buttons, revamped mute switch, along with a small notch at the base of the unit.

There’s a Micro SIM slot also on its side panel whilte there’s another notch in the band at the bottom, and up top you’ll see the power button, the headphone jack, and a new noise-canceling mic. At the bottom, you’ll see the speaker, microphone, and the 30-pin dock connector port. While the backside of the Apple iPhone 4 you will see its new five megapixel camera, a LED, of course, the Apple logo. It has been made to be powerful too compared to its predecessors. It has custom A4 chip that was used in the iPad, which is an ARM Cortex-A8-based CPU, probably below 1GHz . It renders graphics pretty well and faster and has a high response time. It has 512MB onboard, compared to the 3GS’ 256MB. It is available in either 16GB ($199 on contract) or 32GB ($299 on contract) versions and is packed with 802.11n WiFi radio, Bluetooth and a quad-band HSUPA chip. It now comes with larger lithium-ion battery, two new cameras one for taking photos and one designed for video chat.. There’s also a new second microphone used to combat background noise while on calls, a gyroscope, accelerometer, a light sensor, and a proximity sensor. The Apple iPhone 4 has a new LED backlit, 960 x 640 IPS screen the "Retina Display". It is still of the same size, 3.5-inches that can manage 326ppi pixel density along with an 800:1 contrast ratio. Compared to the 3GS three megapixel shooter (no flash), the Apple iPhone 4 now has a five megapixel shooter to the backside of the iPhone 4 and a VGA front facing camera. It is capable of recording videos at 720p. Since there had been issues with the older versions of iPhones’ speaker or earpiece, the company decided to improve the clarity of the iPhone 4 by installing a secondary, noise-canceling The Apple iPhone 4 runs iOS 4, the re-branded iPhone that was made better for multitasking, FaceTime, file organization,Email, and lots of stuff. It also comes with lots of applications like the Siri, iMovie, though there’s one thing that is driving me crazy, the Apple iPhone 4 lacks widgets. Well, maybe in their next update they would be able to provide us with some new widgets since this is not too much to ask. The Apple iPhone 4 also is fully customizable, with a wide range of bumpers available online. Each costs around twenty-nine dollars. Battery wise, it is way better as it can now last 38 hours on a single charge. I haven’t tested it yet, but if it really is true – then the iPhone 4 will surely be a hit since it’s an all around device!

I am going to cut the chase here -- in my approximation, the Apple iPhone 4 is the best touch screen phone out there now. Who would not fall for this device? It comes with a new hardware, drool-worthy display, upgraded cameras, and the iOS 4. It is a formidable package. It is more of like a Mobiado but comes with a better design and is packed with tons of features. It just doesn’t look good, it feels good also in your hands – it is amazingly beautiful device that is easy to use! By the way, if you buy an iPhone 4y the way, if you buy an iPhone 4, you will get iPhone 4 unit, the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic, a Dock Connector to USB Cable, a USB Power Adapter, and the manual. It is available over at AT&T with a contract and for sure the sim-free version will be available soon. The Apple iPhone 4 is a highly device as it is a capable and easy to use phone. Just a reminder, make sure or check first if the AT&T coverage in your area is good before purchasing this device, for you might end up experiencing the same issues that I have had dealt with my iPhones these past few years.
