Just as you thought that Apple would alter its online ordering system for something that would be made for the public to see, check this one out. We managed to check on Apple’s online ordering system to get a glimpse on their stats with regards to the number of iPad 2 units sold and what do you know, Apple seems to have changed it. Back when the first iPad was launched, analysts were still able to count the number of sales by comparing the order numbers. But this time around, things are rather different. Apple has made shipping orders to generate random number which makes it impossible to figure out. Well, Apple has all the right to keep its sale for the iPad 2 private. Guess we will have to wait for Apple’s very own official tally for the next-generation iPad, which we estimate to have already sold over 1 Million units on its opening weekend alone. Source
