Android Platform Plagued by SMS Bug
By Mark Zalewski

Fellow tech site ZDNet has reported that the Android open-source platform has been plagued by a bug that causes SMS problems in the devices affected by it. According to the report, the bug, which was first reported to appear six months ago, will send messages to the wrong contacts continually. Sad to say, Google was not able to come up with an action plan to fix it! The first individual to report the problem to Google said that although the SMS was sent to person A, the text was actually delivered to person B. And what’s more tricky is that a message will still show that the SMS was successfully sent to person A. Now that’s a real problem to deal with. In ZDNet’s forum section, a poll was posted and returned an astonishing 30% affected result. This means that the problem could be adamant and still at work up to now. We are hoping that Google will respond quickly to this issue, unless they want to ruin their reputation as the most promising OS in the future. Source
