Amazon UK Offers Pre-Orders of HTC Hero for £429, to Be Sent on July 15

For all those UK residents looking for the opportunity to get their hands on the new Hero, a little satisfaction is now available. For £429 ($708), people living in the UK can pre-order HTC's latest handset. That's expected for an unlocked set. Orange is planning to offer the Hero for free on contract, so it'd be safe to say that the wait until July 15 to buy it from stores is worth it.
