For those of you that thought that text messaging was only for teens , you're very wrong. According to a new survey by Pew Internets says that almost 72% of adults send texts often! Honestly this doesn't surprise me especially since I've witnessed many adults that do it constantly, no different than any other teen. Text messaging as a whole has increased quite a bit from the last recent years. The reports says that the rate of adult texting has rose from 65% back in 2009 with 10 text messages a day. Although the number really doesn't compare to the 50 average texts teens send everyday. Its obvious why carriers keep coming out with these quick messaging phones. The problem with these numbers rising is the dangers it can cause behind the wheel. I cant count the many times I've seen an adult texting behind the wheel, its honestly so annoying and ignorant. But as the government tries to tackle this numbers just seem to rise even more.
