9100 Spotted in the Wild!
By Ricky Mauch

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen any sort of release of the BlackBerry Pearl 8220, ever since the release of the flip-phone there was not tell to if we’d ever see a successor—or even what the successor would look like. Though a month or so ago, a glimmer of hope appeared on the internet when countless rumors claimed a 3G Pearl was on its way. A device code named Strike or Stratus has been recently caught in the wild. The device takes on more traditional roots with a similar design to the 9100. The device seems to be a GSM device, with an optical track pad, SureType keyboard, equipped with both WiFi as well as BlackBerry OS 5.0.
