Sony Xperia S Announced at CES 2012
By Jerry Carrion

I do not know the reason why but Sony Ericsson releases two almost similar smart-phones. The first one is known as the Xperia Ion. You can find its specs in our previous posts. The other one was known as the Sony Ericsson "Nozomi" but now gets the official name – the Sony Xperia S. No, I didn’t miss anything. If you still do not know – Sony Ericsson has changed its name on Sony. So, as I’ve mentioned before, the Xperia Ion and the Xperia S are very alike. The only big difference is that the Ion has LTE support and the Xperia S doesn’t. The former Nozomi also sports a 4.3-inch touch-screen display at 720, a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, a 12-megapixel Exmor R rear camera and is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich update a bit later this year.
